Date & time format
The Date & time format dropdown controls how dates and times are displayed throughout your account — in feeds, messages, events, rituals, and tooltips.
Auto-detect from browser (default): upcoach reads your browser’s language setting and formats dates accordingly. If your browser is set to German, you’ll see dates like “Mo., 15. Jan. 2024” and times like “14:30”. If it’s set to American English, you’ll see “Mon, Jan 15, 2024” and “2:30 PM”.
Manual selection: Pick a specific language and region from over 80 options. Each option shows its native name alongside the English name — for example, “Français (French)” or “Deutsch (German)”. Your selection overrides the browser default.
To reset to automatic detection, select Auto-detect from browser from the dropdown and save.
Your date & time format works together with your Timezone setting. The timezone determines which time is shown (e.g., converting an event from UTC to your local time), while the format determines how it appears (e.g., 24-hour vs 12-hour clock, month/day ordering).
